Eye examinations
When it comes to having your eyes tested you probably already know that you should be visiting the optician regularly. But do you know why?
The main reason for this is because the majority of eye conditions don’t have any obvious symptoms. That means you could have a potential problem without knowing about it.
When you visit Stroud Vision Centre, one of our friendly opticians will take their time testing all aspects of your vision and eye health to ensure you are not at risk of developing any harmful conditions.
Your test will be conducted using modern technology and equipment and each step of the examination will be explained to you. Once your test is complete, you will have plenty of time to discuss any findings with your optician, as well as ask any questions you may have.
Enhanced eyecare technology with OCT
Our dedication to providing quality care for the community means we use the latest and most effective technology to carry out our tests.
As part of our enhanced eye examinations, we also offer OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scans. These scans create a digital image of the various layers that make up the back of the eye using a special kind of light. The procedure is completely noninvasive and allows our optometrists to create a more detailed assessment of your eye health and spot any hard-to-detect conditions that might be developing.
Following your eye test
If you require eyewear once your examination is complete, you’re in for a treat. As well as having over 350 frames for you to choose from, we also specialise in fitting contact lenses; so your eyewear options are seemingly endless.
